What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Associate – Data Analytics to join our team. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of business intelligence and data analytics.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with end users to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions and data visualizations.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.

  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.

  • Collect data from primary and secondary sources and maintain structured databases and data systems.

  • Execute SQL queries and perform data analysis to support business decision-making.

  • Design and develop user-friendly, insightful dashboards and reports that drive business value.

  • Present dashboards to management and explain insights in a clear and concise manner.

  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of BI (Business Intelligence) solutions.

  • Conduct unit testing and resolve data-related issues.

  • Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization using data-driven approaches.

  • Provide training sessions and create user documentation for tools and reports delivered.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role (internships included).

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of Excel and experience in handling large datasets.

  • Familiarity with data modeling and BI reporting tools.

  • Understanding of statistical concepts and basic analytical techniques.

  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in preparing dashboards and reports for non-technical users.

  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  • Prior experience in client-facing roles or working with cross-functional teams.
