What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Channel Account Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our growth within the K12 education vertical. The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key channel partners within the K12 education sector. This role requires a proactive individual who can build and maintain strong partnerships, drive sales growth, and enhance partner satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the K12 education market, strong sales and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of success in channel management within the software industry.

Here's how you'll do it:

  • Partner Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and distributors, to drive sales and market share within the K12 education sector.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives. This includes identifying new channel opportunities and optimizing existing partnerships.

  • Enablement and Training: Provide ongoing training, support, and resources to channel partners to ensure they are well-equipped to sell and support our software solutions. This includes conducting product demos and sales training sessions.

  • Business Development: Identify and engage with strategic channel partners to expand our reach and market presence within the K12 education vertical.

  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze channel partner performance, providing regular feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed. Track sales metrics, pipeline development, and revenue generation.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement joint marketing initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and events that drive awareness and demand for our products within the K12 education sector.

  • Customer Focus: Ensure a high level of partner satisfaction by addressing their needs, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining open lines of communication. Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to ensure alignment and support.

  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the K12 education market. Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to inform product development and strategy.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales or account management within the software industry, preferably with a focus on the K12 education market.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through channel partners.

  • Strong understanding of the K12 education sector, including knowledge of educational technology trends, purchasing processes, and key stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and Partner Portal Platform(s).
