What’s the opportunity?
The ET Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all Qoria user devices/endpoints are secured, accounted for and compliant with security standards.
Duties: What are my day to day duties?
Regularly update and maintain the security metrics dashboard for devices and endpoints to track security posture.
Conduct user endpoint auditing and maintain an up-to-date asset inventory to ensure compliance with security policies.
Administer and configure Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, such as JumpCloud, to enforce security controls.
Manage and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, such as CrowdStrike, to detect and respond to threats.
Implement and oversee Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
Provide security metrics reporting and contribute to security assessments to improve endpoint security strategies.
Utilize CAASM (JupiterOne) for continuous asset and security monitoring to identify and remediate security gaps.
Performance: How is my performance measured?
Maintain accurate and up-to-date security metrics for all endpoint devices, ensuring clear visibility into security posture.
Ensure timely and effective responses to security incidents, reducing downtime and exposure to threats.
Demonstrate compliance with organizational security policies by maintaining audit-ready documentation and reports.
Requirements: What skills & experience is required?
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with endpoint security tools such as MDM (JumpCloud), EDR (CrowdStrike), and Endpoint DLP solutions.
Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques for endpoint security management.
Ability to conduct user endpoint auditing, asset management, and compliance reporting for security policies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint security issues effectively.
Strong documentation skills to maintain audit-ready security records and system configurations.
