What’s the job? 

The Facilities, Property & H&S Manager is responsible for ensuring our office premises and operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role plays a vital part in creating a productive, safe, and welcoming workplace that supports our people, culture, and business operations. With a recently constructed office space, the role requires oversight of ongoing construction handovers, fit-outs, and continuous improvements while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and ISO standards.

This role is a critical enabler of our wider business goals by maintaining a workplace environment that allows teams to thrive, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring our facilities reflect our company’s standards and values.

Ownership: What are the objectives of my role?

  • Ensure the workplace is safe, compliant, and conducive to productivity and wellbeing.

  • Oversee office operations, facilities, and vendor management in alignment with company standards and budget.

  • Drive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, including ISO requirements.

  • Support internal teams (People & Culture, Finance, IT) with smooth operational logistics.

  • Manage facilities budgets, negotiate with service providers, and oversee maintenance contracts.

  • Act as the key liaison between the company and external property administrators (Mireka Towers and, in the future, Port City).

Responsibilities. What are my day to day responsibilities?

  • Oversee facilities management including cleaning, maintenance, security, and office services.

  • Coordinate with construction teams on incomplete areas, renovations, and fit-outs.

  • Recommend and implement ergonomic and efficient workspace solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, ISO standards, and environmental requirements.

  • Manage contract staff including office assistants, janitorial/cleaning, and security teams.

  • Liaise with property management (Mireka Towers and, in the future, Port City) on building operations, maintenance, and compliance.

  • Monitor and manage the office budget, including vendor contracts, procurement, and expenses.

  • Provide logistics and facilities support for company events and staff engagement activities.

  • Partner with People & Culture, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth office operations.

  • Maintain up-to-date records on facilities, safety, and compliance.

  • Lead sustainability and green workplace initiatives (energy efficiency, waste reduction, eco-friendly practices).

  • Implement and maintain ISO certifications and compliance programs related to facilities, safety, and business continuity.

  • Develop and roll out a long-term facilities strategy to support company expansion, including the setup and operational readiness of the Port City office/building.

  • Gain broader regional or global facilities and HSE responsibilities.

  • Progress into senior leadership roles in Workplace Operations, Corporate Real Estate, or Risk & Compliance.

Requirements: What skills & experience is required?

This role requires:

  • 5+ years’ experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or health & safety roles.

  • Proven knowledge of building operations, property management, and vendor/contractor management.

  • Familiarity with health, safety, and ISO standards.

  • Strong budgeting, negotiation, and financial management skills.

  • Project management experience (construction, fit-outs, renovations).

  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms); exposure to facilities management software (e.g., seating management systems) is an advantage.

  • MBA or professional qualifications in relevant fields (e.g., Health & Safety, Facilities Management, First Aid) is an added advantage.
