What’s the opportunity?

The Global Billing and Collections Officer role involves tasks such as billing and collecting on customer accounts, processing and paying supplier invoices, reconciling bank accounts and assisting with financial processes throughout the group, globally. Ideally you will have a background within credit control which includes prompt and accurate debt recovery,  working with all internal departments you will be enthusiastic, well organised and diligent whilst paying attention to details and working both as an individual and as part of a small team across multiple time zones. This Global Billing and Collections Officer will report directly into our Group Financial Controller

Here's how you'll do it:

  • Ensure sales invoices are processed and sent to customers in a timely manner

  • Ensure cash collections targets are met to enable the business to retain strong cash flow

  • Take responsibility for customer queries and follow through to resolution

  • Support internal colleagues in resolving any queries

  • Provide suggestions to improve processes to reduce the number of queries received from customers

  • Process purchase orders and accounts payable transactions

  • Process bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and employee expense claims

  • Complete other general accounts-related administrative tasks as required, globally.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control/Accounts Assistant position, ideally working with a similar customer base of technology channel partners and education institutions.

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at varying levels, both internally and externally.

  • Strong language and communication skills, able to converse and communicate confidently in English with various parties globally.
