You will be a vital contributor, helping to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will be a champion for the customer, ensuring that our products align with their needs and expectations.

Your mission will be to own the quality assurance process from end-to-end, working closely with developers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will be a foundational member of the team, guiding the overall testing strategy and helping to build a strong quality culture.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to define test plans and create test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Test Execution: Use structured testing techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage. This includes performing functional and regression testing on our UI and APIs.

  • Automation: Help build and direct test automation activities, ensuring efficient and effective test execution.

  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and report detailed defects found during testing, providing clear steps and expected outcomes to assist developers with troubleshooting.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively participate in squad ceremonies, working with developers and product managers to ensure a shared understanding of features and to provide input into the delivery process.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve test artifacts and processes. Keep up to date with industry standards and best practices by joining online communities and reading blogs.

What You'll Bring (Core Requirements)

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role, with a proven ability to own the testing process from planning to execution.

  • Technical Skills: You must be able to test our UI (React, Chakra UI, Angular) and backend APIs.

  • Cloud Expertise: Demonstrable experience working in a GCP environment.

  • QA Fundamentals: A strong understanding of QA methodologies and principles. You should be able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with an ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed, international team.

  • Ownership Mentality: A proactive, self-starting attitude with a passion for taking ownership of your work and learning.
