What’s the opportunity?
Qoria is seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Lead to join its AI Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our AI initiatives, leading a product development team to deliver innovative, AI-driven solutions. You'll serve as the crucial link between stakeholder requirements and the development team, translating business needs into technical reality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead AI Product Development: Guide and mentor a team of engineers in the end-to-end development of AI-based products, from conception to deployment.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable technical plans and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Qoria's overall business objectives.

  • Technical Leadership: Drive architectural decisions and best practices for AI solutions, primarily leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products.

  • Project Management: Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools to effectively manage the project lifecycle, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

  • Mentorship and Growth: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the team, providing guidance and support to help each member grow.

  • Hands-on Contribution: Contribute to code development, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot complex technical issues as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a technical leadership or similar senior role, with a strong background in AI/ML engineering, MLOps and productionization.

  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, BigQuery, or similar tools.

  • Solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Image Processing, and Forecasting.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

  • Responsible for building, servicing and maintaining APIs and streaming platforms, ensuring reliable integration, optimized performance, and smooth service delivery.

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capacity to learn, evolve with the changing AI landscape and a strategic mindset.
